Respect all people

Treat every person with respect, protect their rights, and avoid discrimination or intimidation.

Integrity

Be truthful

Avoid misinformation. Use evidence-based claims and correct mistakes quickly and transparently.

Safety

Do no harm

Follow safeguarding and privacy rules. Never endanger vulnerable individuals or expose sensitive identities.

Expected Behaviours

Minimum standards for anyone representing CRN.

Professional conduct

Communicate respectfully, keep commitments, follow lawful civic action principles, and avoid harassment or threats.

Confidentiality

Protect case reporters and community members. Use consent rules for images/stories and anonymise when needed.

Use the complaints/whistleblowing route. Provide dates, locations, and details you can safely share.

Response process
